Where can I get Hill Magick candles? 

• Well while you're here on our website you can buy some here on our Products page! We also sell at some small business pop-ups in Charlotte, NC. We will advertise where we will be and when we'll be there on our socials @HillMagick and we can't wait to see you there!

What makes Hill Magick candles different from other candles and competitors?

• Hill Magick is an online-based company specializing in luxury candles, but with a “witchy” theme. Each candle is hand-poured with a crackling wooden wick and an all-natural vegan blend of soy and coconut wax within a sleek, minimalistic, and luxe container. 

What are the ingredients in the candles?

• Our candles are an all-natural vegan blend of soy and coconut wax with clean-scent fragrances. There are no Carcinogens, Mutagens, Reproductive toxins, Organ toxins, or Acute toxins.

• Our candles are a soy-coconut wax blend and because of that they burn cleaner than our competitors that use paraffin wax but unfortunately, frosting is almost inevitable with soy candles.

• Frosting is normal. Soy wax mixed with oils naturally form frosting, especially when there are temperature fluctuations. Frosting thankfully doesn't impact how well the candle performs.

• The first burn, burn the candle until wax melts across the entire surface up to the sides of the vessel. This prevents tunneling.
• Don't burn longer than 4 hours at a time.
• Always trim you wick before lighting each time
• For maximum fragrance, keep windows and doors closed and burn in desired space for 30 mins before entering.
• Keep the wax pool free of debris at all times
• Keep away from windy spaces. Draughts decrease burn time, cause uneven burning, smoking and diminished scent throw.

Can I personalize my candles? 

• Not at this very moment but we do plan to offer this service in the future!

Can the tins be recycled? 

• We specifically bought our tins because of the fact we can reuse and recycle them. Once you get to the bottom of the candle and wick, pour boiling water into the vessel and let the wax float to the top. After the wax has re-solidified you can use it in a wax warmer to get all your money's worth. After that simply peel the wick and sticker off the bottom, rinse out and you can reuse it for anything you wish. We hope to, in the future, provide a way to return the empty vessels to be refilled for a lesser price but that is still in the works. If you don't feel like keeping our steel tins they are 100% recyclable as well.

Are these candles safe to burn around kids & pets?

• We care about your family like our own and we only use clean-burning candles for this reason! We use all of our candles with our families and pets as well. With our candles as well as others make sure to use them as directed and keep them out of reach of pets & children.
